So anyways...this is about how I feel right now.

This summer has been mostly work and little play for me and as a result, I havent been working out nearly enough (which despite actually having 'work' in the title, is classified under 'play'). I know, "BAD JOSH!" Should be working out more because it is definately showing. I mean most of the muscle is still in place, but I am getting a stomach, plus fat on my chest and chin. I am also losing muscle definition in other places. My first workout at a decent gym will be the second day back at school and just as last year, it will be 3 days a week, so hopefully I can beat myself into shape.
Another issue that isnt helping my exercising is that last night while playing softball, I tweaked my hamstring and can only run in a rather large amount of pain.
On a happier note, Monday I picked up a bunch of hemp thread and I have been braiding it...very simple braids that I picked up like five years ago...nothing fancy, but its a start. Poodle has promised to teach me how to do more, which should be good. As of right now, I have done three strands...one turned into a necklace with a bead in it, one into a bookmark and the last one into a simple circlet that is resting around my ankle. It is a good pasttime...healthy...non destructive.
Anyways, im out for a while...back to work in 15 minutes...damn do I hate split shifts (8-1, 5-9...and I think im the only one who gets them...fuckers)

"It has been my experience that people are most positive about the things that are most unknowable. Ask them about the best recipe for bread or the easiest way to plane a board, and they will hesitate, thinking carefully. Ask them about their standing with their peers or the direction of their lives and careers, and they will confess uncertainty. Yet ask them about the doings of the gods, or the likelihood of an afterlife, or the secret heart of a lover, or the monsters that inhabit lands they've never visited, and they will express complete conviction in even the most outlandish of beliefs."
